The New England Chapter of URISA is hosting a free webinar on December 13, 2012 from 2 to 3 PM EST entitles “Municipal Uses of LiDAR”. LiDAR data provides unsurpassed accuracy when it comes to topography, elevation, and structure.  Yet, few GIS professionals have any training in LiDAR, making it challenging to work with.

Ken Smerz continually points out that those of us in the LiDAR and laser scanning business think that everyone is aware of the technology, but that is just not the case. Sounds like a valuable opportunity.
